monday afternoon, february 18

they decided to do yet another dialysis treatment this morning. everything is progressing but extremely slowly. he's making tiny little baby steps forward everyday with a few little steps back, as well. they'll be doing a CAT scan of his belly to just keep tabs of all of the post-op things and make sure things are looking right and working properly. it's still being mentioned that it's possible he MIGHT be able to come off the ventilator over the next few days.

Whitney,
I am your Dad's cousin Mike Weisel-Aunt Johnnie's son. We have been following your Dad's progress through your Grandmother, and now through this blog. Keep up the good work, and know that our prayers are with your Dad and the family.

I know that at this time there is nothing we can do up here other than pray, and please know that our prayers are with him.

It has been a long time since I have been to Texas. As I recall, you were a baby the last time I was in Texas and saw you. But you, and the family, have always been in our hearts and mind, more so now than ever.

Our love and prayers to your Dad, and all the family.

Whitney -
Your dad and your family are in my family's thoughts and prayers. Lord, lift Terry up and make him well. Be with the doctors who care for him. Ease any pain, make his mind well and bless his dear family with strength and patience to help see Terry through.
My best,
Lea Ware-Lashley
